OMG! I've been waiting so long for this author to have a new story. THIS book fulfills all my expectations. Having her Promies books as permanent entries on my book reader, I've always felt that they've never been long enough (you know how you never want a good story to end) :)

Well Caines Reckoning fulfills that. Along the line of her Promises books (in reference to being a 'cowboy' story) this story goes into much more detail of the characters personalities, and the 'why' of their emotions and 'why' they do/react the way they do in the situations that they find themselves in.

Well written, in-depth, full-spectrum characters, gives this story of Caine, a Texas Ranger, just 'this side' of the law, a moving and exhilarating excitement of adventure, as he saves, falls in love and protects Desi, a broken, ardent, never give up type of women,

You may ask, how can the herione be broken and ardent? :) Well, you'll just have to read the story to find that out :)

OMG! Ms Ward has done it again. 5th in the series of The Black Dagger Brotherhood, this story is about Vishous. A Brother with a terrible curse/gift. (isn't that always the way? to some a curse, to others a gift)

This story had some surprise in it (at least, I didn't see it coming). But if ms ward doesn't stop killing off her heroines, I'm going to be mighty upset. I wonder if Jane will be able to have children, in the condition she's in now.

and what's this action with John and Xhex? HA! truth. I'd love to see a fruitation of that hint!

and PHURY!? Oh My! can't wait till the next book (his) lol this is going to be soooo interesting. and when he told bella "don't make me break down in front of you. I need my pride right now. Its the only thing keeping me standing."
oh geeze, I was just balling my eyes out.

One of my favorite spots of the story, was after both Vishous and Jane realize their love for one another. She's driving when V calls her and says "hello doctor, it's your man" and then she gives him detailed instructions...hehehe

You'll just have to read the book :D

I don't believe it, but I acutally won a gifty from Lisa Renee Jones who writes those yummy books of the Underground Guardians.

I really enjoy these stories. It's not just about the 'big bad alpha soldier' but of how the gov't has changed their DNA, and now they have to save humanity from their own group. (you know the story, the bad guys vs the good guys)

But these heros are great. Not only are they trying to understand the changes that have happen within themselves, but they're trying to stop men who they used to work/were buddies/ with.

Best of all, the women are smart and strong. Not some wuss who can't handle the upheval of their life, or not believe what is hidden from the rest of humanity.

Ms Jones has also had recently published a more contempory book published by Liquid Silver.

This is just so cool. I was just jazzed that I had found an author that I read, and was able to get up the nerve to actually write/talk to her on her blog.

I love authors with they're own blogs. It really makes you feel that the author is 'a real person' (well, duhhhh... what else are they? Aliens? *giggle*) It also helps, so that I can keep up, with what they're working on next, and when a new books is coming out.

Well that was a strange election. Here Wolfrose and Nightshade were the nominee's but who wins? Some old gossip by the name of Lady Cinnamon.

Well, maybe I shouldn't call her an old gossip, I haven't even meant her yet. Everyone talks about how nice she is, but are they forced to say that?

It's just so suspicious. That reporter was talking about it in the The Burning Times. I know that I had noticed a lot of the police and fire people seemed to be really behind her. I wonder what all that was about. (The stars kept muttering to me about cats. mmmm, does she turn into a cat? does she have a lot of cats? Wish these stupid stars could tell me things more coherently! Half the time, they leave me more confused than I already am).

They were also mutterings about cookies. Does she put drugs in them? Did she put a spell on them? So that everyone who ate any of her cookies, would vote for her?

Well, I guess I just havent' been here long enough to get the whole scoop. LOL and the only big 'gossip' in town is HER! LOL I wonder if I should just come out and ask her?

I know that if I want to learn anything 'juicy' about this town, I'll need to be talking to her.
